Press Release – Bubbly Baroque At Hyde Hall
On Friday, August 25 at 6 pm, Hyde Hall and the Cooperstown Summer Music Festival present Bubbly Baroque in the beautiful Hyde Hall Drawing Room. A benefit concert of Baroque music will be followed by a reception where sparkling wine & cheese will be served.
Cooperstown Summer Music Festival artistic director and flutist Linda Chesis will perform with Sarah Cunningham, viola de gamba, and Bradley Brookshire, harpsichord. The concert features works by J. S. Bach, Antoine Forqueray, and François Couperin.
“The Drawing Room at Hyde Hall is the ideal setting for chamber music as it was originally envisioned,” says Chesis. “I look forward to performing there with Sarah and Bradley, they are both wonderful artists with whom I have performed for years.”
Proceeds from the concert benefit Hyde Hall and the Cooperstown Summer Music Festival. Tickets are $35, with additional donations appreciated. Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly recommended as seating is limited. Tickets are available online at http://www.cooperstownmusicfest.org/benefit-concert/ or by calling Brown Paper Tickets, which is open 24 hours a day, (800) 838-3006.
