Porcelain Place Settings

Porcelain dinner plates were purchased by George Clarke in 1833 from Baldwin Gardiner of New York City. The edge of these plates are decorated with a golden edge and flowers. This set is attributed to Marc Schoelcher in Paris. A few differences in design exist, for example one plate has a small thin circle in the center, and salad plates contain a single flower in the center.
