Tours are available by reservation only, and with a strict limit of six guests per tour. Starting Wednesday (July 1st), tours will run daily—on the hour—between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Begin your tour in our newly remodeled visitor center located in the estate’s original gatehouse, Tin Top. Explore the house with its nearly 50 rooms and stunning architectural details, under the guidance of a skilled interpreter. See firsthand our ongoing restoration process. Bring your picnic lunch to enjoy on the lawn overlooking the unspoiled view of Otsego Lake that inspired George Clarke to choose this site nearly two hundred years ago. You are invited to spend the day as you experience grandeur in the country. Please enter via the Mill Road entrance.
Our Tour Schedule
Hyde Hall is open for guided tours beginning Memorial Day Weekend through October 31 each year. Tours begin at 10am with the last tour departing at 3pm. Visitors of all ages will enjoy its beautiful grounds overlooking Otsego Lake and touring its rich collection of furniture, paintings, and decorative arts. It is located on the grounds of Glimmerglass State Park in Springfield, New York, eight miles north of Cooperstown. Picnickers are welcome!
