ACCESSIBILITY

It is our mission to provide a safe and enjoyable visit to Hyde Hall. Please note that tours require extended periods of walking, standing, climbing stairs, and passing through narrow spaces.  There is an access ramp to the ground floor of the mansion and a ground-floor-only tour is available. There is no elevator, and the second and third floors are only accessible by stairs.  Surrounding footpaths in the State Park are unpaved and gravel.

Service animals, trained to assist an individual with a disability, are welcome on-site.

In order to help our visitors have a pleasant visit, we are committed to providing an ever-increasing range of inclusive, accessible opportunities. We strive to accommodate needs to the best of our abilities and aim for Universal Access regardless of differences in ability.

You can help us with our conservation and preservation efforts. Please refrain from touching furniture, china, paintings, or other items in the collection. We all get hungry or thirsty, but eating, drinking, and chewing gum are not allowed within the mansion, except where authorized by museum staff during special events.
