Empire Style Writing Desk

Empire style writing desk made of cherry and mahogany veneer with maple columns. There are corinthian columns at the sides of the desk and 5 drawers: 2 under the desk with swelled fronts and three smaller drawers above the desk. The knobs for each drawer are cut glass. The front legs are highly decorative paw feet.

Franklin Stove with matching Andirons, Fender & Screen

This Franklin stove is marked “Janes & Kirtland NY”. The sides of the stove are decorated with columns and the top has three golden disks inlaid across the top on the right, left, and center. Above each column sticking up from the stove are two golden spheres. The stove also has a matching pair of andirons, a brass fender, and a wire screen.
