A Concert of Music from the Archives of Hyde Hall

On  Saturday, May 12  at 1 pm, Hyde Hall and the Musicians Ma’alwyck present A Concert of Music from the Archives of Hyde Hall  in the beautiful Hyde Hall Drawing Room. The Drawing Room at Hyde Hall is the ideal setting for chamber music as it was originally envisioned.

Ann-Marie Barker Schwartz, violin, Norman Thibodeau, flute, and Palmyra Catravas, forte piano will perform: Roslin Castle for solo flute arranged by Charles Nicholson; Paganini Fantasia No 1 for flute and piano; Suite No. 2 from the opera Le Philtre of Daniel Auber arranged for two flutes by Eugene Walckiers; Airs Varie No. 5 for violin and piano of Charles Dancla based on opera themes by Joseph Weigl; Piano Sonata in B-flat Major, 1st movement, by Franz Schubert, and Franz Doppler’s Duettino Americain for flute, violin and piano. 

The Musicians of Ma’alwyck are celebrating their 18th year of exciting chamber music performances.

Tickets for the performance at $10.00 per person are available by calling Hyde Hall at (607) 547 5098 Ext 6 during office hours. Outside office hours please leave your name and phone number, we will return your call. Seating is limited and reservations strongly recommended.

You are invited to The Hyde Hall Celebrate Mom! Garden Party from 12:00 – 3:00pm on May 12, enjoy Tea and treats in the Library and on the Veranda, and view the newly restored Dining Room walls and carpet. The Garden Party is free and open to the public.
