Many of the furnishings at Hyde Hall are original to the home and can be documented with the actual receipts of purchase from expert craftsmen of the time. Pictured above is a Canterbury, a form of furniture designed to hold sheet music, newspapers, and other publications. This Canterbury was purchased from Meads and Alvord of Albany, NY on July 24, 1833
