April 29-May 1 1:00 to 5:00 pm Thistle Hill Weavers Textile History Forum
The 2016 Textile History Forum at Hyde Hall is presented in collaboration with Thistle Hill Weavers and will take place on the weekend from April 29 through May 1st.  Forum sessions include documentation on historic textiles found at Hyde Hall; practical lessons in fiber analysis and recording of information; textile identification; a look at tassels and trims from the 19th century and more! May 7 1:00 to 5:00 pm Celebrate Mom! Garden Party
Give Mom first looks at the new Drawing Room carpet at Hyde Hall and treat her to tea and sweets in the Dining Room of our 200-year old English-style country mansion. Hyde Hall silver and other artifacts from the collection will be on display.  Attendees will enjoy maypole dancing – live music – dramatic readings and book signings. Guided tours will leave from the East Portico every half hour until 4:00 pm.  This event is free and open to the public.

May 14 through September 4 Monday through Friday – 10am to 4pm  Enchanted Spaces: Photographs by Troy Hourie and Abby Rodd
Both artists will also be exhibiting a select number of photographs they recently have taken of Hyde Hall. A portion of all proceeds from the sale of the artists' photographs will be donated to the Friends of Hyde Hall to maintain the facility and its community programming.

July 17 2:00pm Hyde Hall Covered Bridge Unveiling of New Interpretive Sign
You are invited to join us for this event.  Please bring lawn chairs.  Guest Speakers include Ruth Pierpont – Deputy Commissioner for Historic Preservation; Bill Caswell – President of National Society for the Preservation of Covered Bridges; Donna Freeland – President of NY State Covered Bridge Society.
July 25 5:30pm A Russian Festival – with Glimmerglass Festival
